NLP Anchoring Technique:

Anchoring is reminiscent of Pavlov’s experiments with dogs. Pavlov sounded a bell as the animals were given food. The animals salivated when they saw the food. After some parings of the bell and the food, the bell alone elicited salivation.
Anchors are stimuli that call forth states of mind – thoughts and emotions. For example, touching a knuckle of the left hand could be an anchor. Some anchors are involuntary. So the smell of bread may take you back to your childhood. A song may remind you of a certain person. A touch can bring back memories and the past states. These anchors work automatically and you may not be aware of the triggers.
Establishing an anchor means producing the stimuli (the anchor) when the resourceful state is experienced so that the resourceful state is pared to the anchor. For example, touching the knuckle of the left hand when the resourceful state is experienced to pair the two events.
Activating or firing the anchor means producing the anchor after it has been conditioned so that the resourceful state occurs.For example, touching the knuckle of the left hand after the anchor has been established so that this action produced the resourceful state.

Jimmy Petruzzi will demonstrate an insight into how we can create powerful anchors to help access more positive states in any given situation. There will be a practice session held after the workshop to really master using this powerful technique!

‘How to Spot Lying & Deception and How to Use Your Body Language as Your Secret Weapon’ With Craig-James Baxter            8.15pm – 9.30pm

In this workshop you will learn how to spot the tell tale signs whether somebody is telling you the truth or not, how to read micro expressions and non verbal communication, and how to use your own body language to get better results in life.

This workshop comes with a warning though… after learning some of these powerful body language techniques you may start to realise that sometimes ignorance is bliss!!

How to smash limiting beliefs and build a brighter future:

Our beliefs are at the core of who we are. Beliefs guide our decisions and behavior in all areas of life. They determine what

we think is or is not possible. More often than not they prove to be self-fulfilling prophecies. Some of our beliefs are not fully

our own, but rather blindly taken on from others. Once a belief is formed, we work overtime to prove it right, even if the belief is

something negative like “Nobody likes me” or “I am a failure.” Do we have to let our beliefs govern us, even if they are harmful to

others and ourselves? Can we consciously make changes to what we believe?

In the first half of the 20th century the world believed that it was impossible to run a mile under four minutes. When, on May 6th

1954, Roger Bannister ran a mile in 3.59 minutes, everyone was in awe. Then, a curious development took place. Within the following

year many other runners ran the mile under four minutes. It was as if a spell had been broken. To understand this phenomenon better,

we have to take a closer look at our beliefs, and how they affect us.

Jimmy Petruzzi will demonstrate an insight into how we form beliefs and how to smash limiting beliefs and build a brighter future.
